BAND FESTIVAL
AT PALMERSTON NORTH.
I (By Telegraph—Press Associatisn.) I PAIMER&TOJTn., Last Night. I There is to be a Band Festival for the Wellington. Province- of the Salivation Army, held at Palmers-ton [North at Easter. Some 130 to 150 Army bandsmen are expected to come on Easter Saturday, and on that .night there will be open air demonstrations. Amongst the officers present will, be Staff Captain Newbold, Provincial Chancellor, Major Rowley, Young People's Secretary, Major Colvin, editor of the "War Cry," and Major Kirk, trade manager for New Zealand', as well as seme forty or (fiillty' other officers from the Welling(ton Provincial District. Under the new scheme New Zea•>a.n<l is divided into four Provinces, each with, their provincial heads and staff, the North Island being divided between. Auckland and Wellington. All the visitors are-to be billeted with friends of the Army.
