AN INDIAN CITY'S EXPERIENCE. (Received March 28, 11 a.m.) CALCUTTA, March 27. A disastrous fire occurred at Peshawar, a city of aboutr.loo,ooo inhabitants, close to the Afghanistan frontier. ■> Three hundred houses were destroyed. Manv of the inhabitants are destitute.
