RIFLE SHOOTING.
The Flat I'bint Miniature Riifle Cilub held .the fintal shoot of the season on. Saturday last, when a. number of the members of the Te Wharau Club wore present, and a match was fired ibetween teams selected by the Captain and Vice-captain, resulting in a win for the latter team by six points. 'Following are the scores:— Vace-ca;p-taiai's team.: G. Cox 87, J. Iv. Iteis 84, A. S. Milne 88, L. Meredith 90, J. March 80.— Total, 429. Captain's Team: Reg. Vennell 85, P. Rummer 84, A. H. Smith 83, A. Camertm 86, ,T. Prout 85. Total, 423. After the match the competitors were entertained at a supper provided by the Club, when a plcsasian't evening was spent. Arrangements were a!ftenva.rds mado for the Flat Point, team to visit Te Wha.ran, and fire a match on the latter's' range.
