FIERCE BATTLE RAGING
HUNDREDS KILLED. RESULT UNKNOWN. (Received Last Night, 10.20 o'clock.) MEXICO ClTY,..March 20. A fierce battle is raging in the neighbourhood of Jaurcz. Four hundred Federals are dead, and one hundred rebel bodies have been found. General Banquette, the Government loader, was seriously wounded. The result of the battle is unknown. Tho rebels hold a superior position on tho surrounding, heights, which tto Federals are attacking. General Salaz is reported to have committed suicide.
