After- ari houPfe amuse-' iment, about one hundred children and adults gathered in the schoolioom, where a pleasant hour was spent. The Rev. J. S. Young, in the absence of the Rev. A. T. Thompson, presided, and the following items, were rendered by the scholars, each receiving well merited applause:— Pianoforte duet. Miss Irene and; Doris Boilings; recitation, Mavis Rive; pianoforte solo, Grace Gbsmell; recitation, Rita Jackson; recitation, Florrie Narby; recitation, Eric Chesterman ; vocal quartette, Albert and Herbert Upton, Eric Raynor and Stanley Carr; recitation, Jean Drummond. The prizes won as the result of last year's, works were as follows : CSaSiS. I.— Infants, Jean Drummond I, Mary Gazeley 2, Ethel Ackerman 3. Glass ll.—Mavis Hive 1, Isabel Lett 2, Grimace Goshell and Pearl Hc-llings (equal) 3. Class in. —Boys: Willie iGosnell 2, Harold McKenzie 3. Senior ' girls' class: Doris King I,' Irene Rive -2.
