A LAW LIBRARY.

Now that Masterton is provided with a Courthouse worthy of the district, and circuit sittings of the Supreme Court are to be held here regularly, it .should be the duty of the local branch of the Law Society to make an effort to secure a law library, so that it would Jiot bo necessary to adjourn cases to Wellington for legal argument. The cost of a library may be very considerable, but the advantages of such an institution are so obvious that the question of cost should not be regarded as a serious obstacle.
