LABOUR IN AUCKLAND
CONTESTING THE MAYORAL ■CHAIR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last 'Night. A mass meeting of workers was held this afternoon in connection with the- labour deadlock. Almost every Union in Auckland was represented. The attitude of the employers was strongly condemned 'by many speakers, who appealed for a united stand in the dispute. It was unanimously resolved to support the Labour candidate that will be brought forward for the Mayoral chair.
