ST. PATRICK'S ENTERTAINMENT
A splendid programme of music, song and dance has been, prepared for the entertainment in honour of St. Patrick's Day, which is to be held in the Town Hall next Wednesday evening. The programme opens with a tableau with music and step-dances illustrative of the three nationalities — England, Ireland and Scotland. The dancers will be Messrs R. Mcßae, J. Pickett and R. Williamß. Irish songs will be rendered by the Misses Segrief, Farrell, Twohill (Wellington), and Mr W. Iggulden. Unfortunately Miss Simpson, who was engaged for the performance, is unable to attend, but her place will be taken by Mr J. Candv, who will give a flute solo', and Miss'Pbylis Hanify, L.T.C.L., and L.A.8., who will give selections on the piano. Humorous monologues and duets will be given by Messrs Dave Kenny and A. W. iNewton. A recitation will be given by Miss Nellie Hogg and an Irish jig by Miss E. Jfanley; and a Highland fling by Masters Pauling (2) and Misses Pauling (2). Mr W. Sutherland will act as piper.
