A COB-WEB.
There is an individual up Auckland way'named Webb—he might well have been named Cobweb—who talks of "linking up labour" to "fight the master class." With this end in view,'he intends touring the Dominion. Now, tho "master class," as it is termed, has had to encounter quite a sufficient number of Labour "webs" in the past few years. Like the spider in the fable, it has walked into the Labour parlour, and had its life'sblood extracted. It is becoming more wary with age. ' But why should the "master class" require fighting, anyhow? Is it a crime to he a master, as it is a crime to be a landholder? Things are coming to a pretty pass in this country when agitators can find nothing better to do than stir up strife between masters and men. We would sincerely advise labourites to 'ware of the Webb!
