PAHIAiTUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Pahiatua stock sale as follows: —We offered a full \ yarding of 50 pens of sheep, and a small yarding of cattle to a good attendance of buyers, and have to report a total clearance of the sheep, witli the exception of \t\xo small pens. Bidding was spirited right throughout the sale, and all classes" of stock met with keen competition. Quotations : —2 and 4-tooth ewes, lis 3d to 12s 6d; 4 and 6-tooth ewes, to 12s; 4 and. 5year ewes, 8s 4d to 9s 7d; old.ewes, 6s to 8s 6d; old owes, in good condition, to 9s 6d; sound mouth ewes, 8s 3d to ' 9s; cull ewes, 2s to ss' Id ; 2-tooth wethers, 10s 3d tolls 9d; shorn lambs, good, 7s 2d to 8s Id; medium, 4s 9d to 6s; culls, 2s 6d to 3s 8d ; good wether lambs, to 9s 4d; woolly lambs, 6s 6d to 9s; Romney rams, to lgn; Southdowns, to l£gns. Cattle: Weaners, 15s to 255; bullocks, £4 15s to 325 10s; store cows, £2 17s to 3s 3s.
