THE RIFLE CHAMPION
A WELCOME HOME. (By Telegraph—Tress Association.) WOODVILLE, Last Night. Private Loveday, the rifle champion r met with a great reception on arrival home this looming. A large number of people were assembled at-the railway stration. , The champion was placed in a carriage along with the Mayor and the member for the district, and drav?n through the town by members of the Fire Brigade, Boy Scouts, and School Cadets. A halt was made in front of the post office, where congratulatory addresses were delivered by the Mayor, member for the district, and Majors Nelson and Stevenson.
