METHODIST CONFERENCE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night, The 'Methodist Conference practical-' ly concluded to-day. The Conference adopted the Commit T report in favour of the New South Wales system' "of Bible in Schools. . • _ •Resolutions were passed expressing satisfaction..-at the .splendid vote recorded in favour of national prohibition, and urging fresh efforts. The Conference expressed the conviction that the Government would take steps for the abolition of the total is ator, and also protested againstthe Ne Temere decree. The election of Chairmen of _ District's resulted as follows: .Wanganui, Rev. Spence; Wellington, Rev. gerpell; Canterbury, Rev. C. <H! Law; Nelson, Rev. Ba umber; Qt;agoy. Rev.
