CORRUPTION CHARGES
RUSSIAN OFFICER? ON TRIAL. (Received March 11, 10 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, March 10. The trial is taking place of four colonels and two lieutenant-colonels on charges of conniption in connection with the Army supply Department. Evidence was given that Tiel and Company spent two million pounds sterling in bribes in twenty-five years. A single bribe sometimes amounted to £2500.
