COMMITTED FOR TRIAL
CHARGE OP MATRICIDE. (.Received March 11, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 11. Ma.be] Small has been committed for trial at Cumnock on a charge of murdering her mother, Jane Johnstone, on September 14th last. Accused made a written statement to the effect that something told her to remove strychnine from a bottle. She then visited 3xer■'■mother.- The latter felt terribly queer, and something told her' to' put. the , strychnine, in 'her mother's medicine. . The mother subsequent!}' drank a portion and 1 died.
