Presumably •the Minister for' 1 Agriculture, who is reported to be breaking'his political neck to attain the Premiership, is willing to practice a little of what he preaches. Self-abnegation ! How delicious a phrase to come from a member of a Ministry whose Alpha and Omega have been "Selff" with a capital "S"! It was self-abnegation, no doubt, which prompted the. Minister! 4 for Dairy Herds to promise the Taranaki milkers almost everything under the sun if they would only give him their votes. Yes, self-abnegation is a fine thing—for the other fellow!
