BATTLESHIP "NEW ZEALAND"

'-' TIMARTJ, Last Night, . The committee which arranged the gift from the Dominion to the battleship "New Zealand," (bell shield, gunnery registry, and prize fund), met this afternoon to consider a letter from the Admiralty, inquiring whether, as the name of the ship, which had received the gifts, had been-changed to "Zealand," and a new ship given by the Dominion was named "New Zealand," the gifts should be transferred to the latter. Th ecommittee decided to reply that they desired the transfer to be made, but not until the expiry of the present commission of the Zealandia.
