NEW ZEALAND LEADS THE WAY EXAMPLE TO MOTHER COUNTRY (Received March 7, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, March 6. .The Pall Mall Gazette says that New Zealand has the knac.k of leading in all patriotic and Imperial causes, and has now demonstrated : that compulsory military training, is not ■abliorrerit to the democracy by recruiting thirteen hundred more than •were liable for service—thus setting a splendid example to the Mother Country.
