A ROIHSCHILD ASSAILED
THREE SHOTS FIRED AT HIM

LONDON, March -I. Mr Leopold Rothschild was entering a motor car at his offices in St. Swithin.'« Lane, when a man fired three s'hots at him. Mr Rothschild was not wounded, but a policeman was injured, and the glass in the motor car was scattered about.
DETECTIVE WOUNDED
(Received Last Night, 10.2.5 o'clock.)
LONDON. March 5. Mr Rothschild had a remarkable escape,. two .shots being fired point blank at the car. ' ■ Detective Berg grappled with the assailant, who fired two more shots, shooting Berg in the throat. When arrested he give the name of William Tcbhitt, who is a Jew, and unknown to R'othsehiid.
