MRS PANKHURST SENTENCED TO TWO MONTHS IMPRISONMENT. (Received March 4, 8.40 a.m.) LONDON, March 3. Mrs Pankihurst was sentenced to two imomtihs' imprisonment, and several others ranging from fourteen days to two months. The majority of those arrested were remanded or committed for trial for doing damage of over £IOO each. MAGISTRATE'S COMMENT. IF INEFFECTIVE, LAW MUST BE AMENDED. A suffragette was arrested on Sunday nighjt for dropping on the floor of the telegraph department of the General Post Office, Ronnanibartfli Street, a basket of blazing shavings, saturated with paraffin. It is understood as a preuMe to an organised series of outrages on Post Offices.
