THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURE!. ' The.amusement in the current programme provided by the ThompsonPayne entertainment is very interesting and lively, and worthy of much praise. Generally, the items are up to a very, high standard, and some are excellent. This "was again endorsed by another large and appreciative audience at this popularjiouse of amusement last night. The present magnificent programme will be repeated to-night for the last time, so lovers of ai't from the pictorial world should avail themselves of this opportunity. T,he Hilar picture is "Lady Godiva," founded in the Eleventh Century legend. Such a combination of dramatic, scenic, topical, and comedy subjects, together , with enchanting music, is .seldom equalled and never excelled. To-day a grand special matinee is advertised to take place at 2.30, when many films■ of a highly interesting and amusing character, including "The. Child Orusoes," will be screened.
