JPupcr," cf Matahiwi; a Romney ram donated bv Mr W. " Allen, of Clareville, was purchased by Messrs Payne and funis, East Coast, for 6| I gns, and a similar price was obtained for a Romney ram presented by Mr G. E. Allen, Tipua, the purchaser being Mr M. Speedy, of Dannevirke. The first four sheep were sold by Messrs Abraham and AVilliams, and the two latter by the New Zealand 'Loan and Mercantile Agency Company.
