NO-CONFIDENCE DEBATE.
—« It is difficult to arrive at a conclusion as to how long the debate upon the Address-in-Reply and Mr Mnssey's no-confidence motion will occupy in the House of Representatives. It may happen "that after the mover and seconder of the address have spoken, and the respetcive leaders have addressed themselves to the no-confidence motion, «a division will immdiately be taken." This, however, is exceedingly improbable. The i'rime Minister has set tlie pace in his "last lament," and his followers may be expected to live up to it. lif every member of the House should talk to the motion and the amendment, as he has a. right to talk, it will be nearly a ofrtnight before the division is reached. But, if there be only a demonstration of gush and rhetoric on the part of the Ministerial make-believes, the bell may ring before the end of the present week.
