AMUSEMENTS
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. The programme presented at the Foresters' Hall this evening and on Tuesday and Wednesday will he in the nature of a holiday programme, a special series having been obtained for the occasion. The dramas include some of the finest productions of the most famous companies in the world, viz., "Silas Marner," (Tannhauser), "On the Road to Rochelle," "The Miser" (A.8.), "A Miraculous Recovery," (Kalem), and "Weighed in the Balance" (Tannhauser). In comedy there will be works by the Vitagraph. A.8., and other companies, the principal subjects being "The Two Coats" (Vitagraph), "Uncle Poorluck" (Patlie), "Museum of Sovereigns" and "Friday the 13th." A number of comic, scenic and instructive pictures will also be shown. As there is sure to be large audiences at the Foresters' Hall during show nights, patrons are advised to secure their seats early.
