The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency.Co., Ltd., report having received, tlie following cablegram from their London house —■ Wheat.—i Sold an Australian cargo at 38s Ud, c.i.f. There is very little demand owing to increased supplies. Argentine market prospects outlook uncertain.
CLEARING SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report. having held a very, successful clearing sale on account of Mr J. Jepson, Pleckville,, Eketahuna. The sheop were in good order, and competition was keen for young breeding ewes, prices being fully maintained on -.resent ■ market reports. Cattle and sundries also sold well.
