THE WAINGAWA WORKS
AN EMBARGO REMOVE*'. It is satisfactory to be able to record that the instructions issued h} the Slaughtermen's Union in Wellington 4o the butchers at the "Waingawa freezing works, that they should "go slow, I ', have been withdrawn. This is uo doubt due to the fact that the Union is .satisfied that it is impossible to deal with the sheep of Wellington Companies at the local works. The butchers atthe Waingawa works are now turning out a .maximum number of sheep daily, and everything is working smoothly.
