MISS MARIE BAINES. To-morrow night will serve .to introduce' Miss Marie' Baines and her English Comedy Company to a Masterton audience. The play to be produced is the two-act musical comedy, "Miss Lancashire, Limited," a piece which was played with phenomenal, success in Australia three years ago, by an elder sister of the new comedienne. It is described as being one j long laugh from curtain to curtain, and as being brimful of humorous situations and quaint 'turns, as well as bright, with crisp and. . attractive musical ; numbers.' Miss Baines' has .brought her own London ■'Company with her, all- the artists being new ■to. the' Dominion. /She. has just concluded most successful tour of tlie South Island, and after "doing.", the North will leave for an extended trip to Australia and the East. The season here' is strictly limited to one night.
