PROBABLE CANDIDATES.
In answer to a query put by a representative of the "Age" His Worship the Mayor (Mr J. - • Coradine), who has now filled the Vhair for tAvo years, staled that he had not vet considered the question tof the Mayoralty election, which takes place iu April. He had not thought rthat the time for election, .was so close. Ho had not thought of retir'iuo-. which meant, of course, that he would again be a candidate. ■ Mr C K. Daniell has been approached'in the matter of the Mayoralty, -"but lie has not yet given a decided answer. ; . > Mr 0 X. C. Pragnell assured an "\W' representative yesterday that if no other person would contest the chair with, Mr Coradine, hj? would liimself be a candidate.
