UNPALATABLE.

The plain, ( unvarnished exposure we made in our issue of Monday last of the despicable methods of the discredited Liberal Party, appeal's to have ruffled the feathers of the Carterton apologist of that Party, which seems hurt. Naturally we are .sorry—sorry that there are still to bo found apologists for so inept a political conglomerate, and sorrier still that journalists are either afraid or unwilling to face sober facts without- a flinch. There are two sides to most questions. There is only one to the political history of New Zealand during the last few years—and that is black! black!! black!!! We forgive our Carterton friend his adjectives, and deplore the wretchedness "of his case.
