(By "Also Started.") There will be racing at Rotorua on the 14th inst., and at Taranaki on the 14th and 15th. Big entries have been received at Wanganui and Woodville, where there will be some interesting racing. : The Masterton owned Sir Knox did some excellent track work before leaving for Egimont, where his party were very confident of success. He was ridden by an inexperienced boy in the Cup, and after a very bad passage, finished well up. With Deeley up on the second day he won by a good margin. Tlie win was very ■popular in Masterton. Sir Knox is handicapped in the Woodville Cup at Bst 31'b, and. may be expected to run prominently. Tho Masterton owned Sir Solo is striding along freely in his work at Opaki, and is coming back to form. Afterthoiight does . not run up to her track form, as on the tracks at Opaki she shows some really _ good form, but does not reproduce it in a .race. The Sir Laddo gelding, Kopane. who raced consistently in the Wairarapa, will be amongst the competitors at the Rotorua Jockey Club's annual (meeting this week.
