MASTERTON SHOW
No breeder of stud stock can £ifford to be unrepresented at the Masterton Show, to he held 011 the beautiful Solwiiy showgrounds on February 20th and 21st. This is really the convincing ground for the great breeders of the Dominion. A man who can appropriate a champion or other prize at the Masterton Show can:..claim a reputation as ;a breeder, tit* is -hardly necessary to say that this reputation means money in stock. From the reports to hand, it i would appear that this year's show ! at Mastorton will eclipse all previous ' efforts of this kind, for. entries are being received from every part, north and south, east and west. The sheep, horses and cattle classes are filling exceptionally well, while the jumping competitions, for which splendid prizes are offered, will probably produce record entries. Hie grounds are just now a picture to look upon. Splendid streams of sparkling water are flowing through them, and paddocks of green feed have been prepared for the stock. Intending visitors need have no apprehension about accommodation. A postcard or a telegram to the secretary (Mr J. B. Em-met-t) will fix that, matter. Meanwhile, breeders should remember that entries close to-day.
