THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. Despite the wet weather, there was a crowded "house at the Foresters' Hall last evening, to witness the current, programme, the star . picture of which is the sporting drama, "The Double Event," a story over 6000 ft. long, full of exciting scenes, and graphically described by Mr Alf Boothman, the eminent actor. A ' number of other excellent pictures ' are included in the programme, which | will be shown for -the last time to--1 night. The children's matinee will take place this afternoon, when tliera will be a new series of subjects displayed.
