PALMERSTON STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—-Special to the Age.)" . Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Palmersiton North sale to-day, we had a very ■heavy yarding of sheep and a medium yarding of cattle. Sheep were hard to quit at late rates. Quotations: Rape lambs, 8s 2d to 8s 8d; store lambs, 6s to 7s 6d; woolly'lambs, 8s 6d; 2-tooth wethers, 12s 6d and 12s 7d; 2, 4, and 6-tpoth ewes, 12s 6d.; aged ewes, 7s 7d to 8s Id; rams, 10s 6d. Cattle: 2year steers, £4 10s to £4 15s; fat cows, £4 16s; 18-months heifers, in calf, £3 6s 6d; cowb and heifers, £4 12s.
