Messrs Dalgoty and Co., Ltd., report having held their monthly saio yesterday, when they offered a fair catalogue of hides, sheepskins, wool and tallow - . There was the usual attendi'aJice of buyers, and prices compared very favourably with ruling rates. Calfskins were in good demand and realised up to Did per lb. Quotations: —Crossbred wool, God to 7-a'd; seedy crossbred, 6^d; bellies and pieces, from 4}d to 6>}d; locks, 3d. Skins, 6&d to 7d ; dead hoggets skins, s£d; dead, S^d; lambs, Sd. .Hides: — Cowhides, 4d to 5Jd; calfskins, good, 9d to SJ.'id; other sorts, 4d to 6-Jd. Tallow, 22s 3d; 'horsehair, is 3d. W.F.C.A. REPORT., < The Wairarapn Farmers' Co-opera-tivo Association, Ltd., report as folloavs : —We 'held our monrtilily sale of wool, sheepskins, and hides yesterday, when we offered GO bales wool, 200 hags wool, 2000 sheepskins, land a quantity of hides and calfskins. There was a good attendance of buyers, and bidding throughout the catalogue was spirited, especially for good clean lines both in the wool and sheepskin catalogues. Quotations: Baled fleece, 7id to 9.id; baled lambs, 7id to 7|d; baled looks, 4d to 4|d; pieces, 5d to 5%d. Locks and pieces, id to Sd; bagged fleece, 6ijd to 7-Jd; lambs, 7~2d ; dead, 6£d to 7d; pieces, 4id.; locks, 4d ; bellies and pieces, 5Jd. Sheepskins:—These sold well and were ■quite on a par with last Wellington rates. Crossbred fine, 7£d; crossbred medium, 7d; inferior, 6fd; dead, medium, od to oid; inferior, 4Jd; lambs, 4£d to 6d; hoggets, 's£d; dhori®, 2Jd • to 4£d; pelts, 3d to' 4d. Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., report: —We held our wool and skin sale yesterday, when we submitted a catalogue of 80 hales and 200 bags of wool, 3000 sheepskins, and a quantity of liides, tallow, horsehair, and rabbit-skins. Tlhere was :a full attendance of 'buyers, "and prices realised were most satisfac--1 tory. Quotations : —Wool: Fine crossbred, Bsd; coarse crossibred, 7d to BJ-d; dead, od to 7fd laimlbs, 6£d to 8d ; bellies; and pieces, 4d to Gel; locks, 3£cl to Fine crossbred, 7Jd; medium crossbred, okl "to 7d; hoggets, 4sd to 7d; lamibs, 4d to 5Jd; dead, 43d to o-J-d; pelts, l|d to 4d, Horsehairls Id to Is 9fd per lb. Messrs Abraham and William s :, Ltd., report on the JoJinsonrille sale as follows: —The usual yarding of prime bullocks and sheep came forward and sold at late rates. Prime heavy bullocks made £9 12s 6d to £lO 2s 6d; medium weight bullocks, £9 7s 6d to £9 10s; lighter, £9 to £9 ss; prime heavy ewes, 13s lOd to 14s; prims heavy wetihers, 16s 6d to 17s 8d; good ewes, 13s to 13s 3d; plain 12s 3d to 12s 6d; jplain wethers, 13s to\ 14s 6d; priime lambs, 13s 3d to 13s 9d; prime shorn lis 9d; plain woollv, 10s to ,11s 6d.
