"BOOSTING" MASTERTON.
The President of the dVlasterton Chamber of Commerce, who has just returned from a trip to the North, is surprised to find (how little is known abroad of Master ton and its attractions. 'He is strongly of opinion that .something should ibe done to "boost" the town. This opinion will (be shared by a large number of townspeople. If the Chamber of Commerce were to unite with the Borough Council, tlie A. and P. Association and the Trust Lands Trust in preparing a well-.il! ustrated descriptive booklet, for , circulation throughout the Dominion, it would do much to advertise the district and its resources. The Minister for Internal Affairs stated, on 'the occasion oif !his recent visit, that he knew of no township in the Dominion which offered the sarnie attractions as Ma«-t-erton to the man who was retired from business. This,' in itself, is a testimony to the charming' surroundings of the place.
