Interest an the war in Tripoli appears to have died out, and the cable messages contain only the vaguest references to the campaign. It is quite evident, however, from the scraps of information which come io hand, that Italy lias undertaken a preposition which is somewhat, larger than she anticipated. The attacks by Arabs arid Bedouins, whose sympathies are entirely with the; Turks, aire of almost daily occurrence, and there is no knowing when peace will he restored. The'chances are that the Powers will eventually intervene to bring (hostilities to a close.
