ENRAGED POPULACE REVOLUTIONARIES MURDERED. (Received Last Night, 11 o'clock.) GUAYAQUIL, January 30. Five revolutionary generals, including General Alfaro, arrived at Quito on Sunday, and were immediately imprisoned. When the populace heard of their arrival, a mob of 5000 attacked the Guards, who fired a volley, killing se\ eral. The mob tore down a portion of the walls of the cells, and dragging the Generals out killed .them, along with other prisoners supporting the revolutionaries. The bodies were dragged through the streets of San Diego to the cemetery, where they were burned. The fury of the populace was due to the tremendous .losses sustained by both armies, at the battle ofYaguack on the 16th inst.
