DEATH OF THE DUKE OF FIFE

(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) CAIRO, January 29. The Duke of Fife died peacefully at 6 o'clock this evening. (Alexander William George Duff was born in 1849, and was created a Duke of the United Kingdom in 1889. [He was married to Princess Louise, eldest daughter of the late King Edward VII., on July 27th, 1889. He leaves two daughters, the elder being Her Highness Princess Alexandra, born in 1891, who is lieir to the Dukedom and Macduff Earldom. The late King, in 1905, directed that Princes® Louise should bear the title of ''Princess Royal," and her daughters be styled "Highness" and "Princess.")
