RIFLE SHOOTING
MAURICEVILLE CLUB. The Maurioeville Rifle Club fired a competition at 800 and 1000 yards 'on Saturday last. A ten-shot match, was fired at 600 yards. The following are the scores:— 600 and 1000 Yards.— R. C. P. Dagg 69; A. Larsen 64, R. A. Wilton (scr.) 63; C. Blewett 62, F. W. Rummer (scr.) 61; G. Rutherford l(sor.) 60; D. H. Rutherford 59; E. ALFREDTGN CLUB. . The Aifredton Rifle Gliub held their fourth cup and trophy shoot on Saturday last. The highest in the aggregate for the Challenge Cup are Deputy-President F. Percy 280, President P. Wilton 278, Riflemen C. Benton and T. Groves 272. The fifth shoot takes place on Thursday, February Bth. Appended are the scores': —
