REPUBLICAN FANATICS WAR TO THE DEATH. Received This Morning, 12.15 o'clock PEKING, January 23. The Republicans who landed at Chefoo include a hand grenade battalion., of fanatics, sworn not to return alive. Each is armed with eight bombs. The New York Herald's Peking correspondent states that the Dowagei Empress has decided against the iunporor's abdication, and declares tna war to the death is preferable, and more "befitting to the dignity of the dynasity.
