AUOIvLAiND, jLiist Night; The report from the South that the Canterbury Industrial Association intends to formulate /a big Dominion industrial Exhibition.' in Uhristchureh next year, raises tlie question of a possible clash with the industrial exliubition wliioh it has been suggested should be held in Auckland. The question discussed by the Auckland business people six months ago, and wa-s then deferred for further consideration early in the present year. [The President of the CUiamiber of Commerce (Mr Leo Myers) stated to-day that it was intended to hold, a meeting during the inext ten days, at which members of the Chamber of Commerce and the Provincial.. Industrial Association would discuss what course of action should be Auckland undoubtedly had a prioc claim, provided it was decided tu> go on with the exhibition. Mr Myers added that he was satisfied that; iso far as CSiristchurch was concerned, there would be au amicable arraaige-. ment, and no clashing between tho interests of the two cities.
