Noblo will give his decision whether he will play or not in the remaining Test matches with the Englishmen, on the 27th anst. Discussing the Englishmen's objection to the use of resin, Noble declared that ho always used it and tihq fieldsmen did also". The use of resin did not enable the howler .to break more simply, but it prevented the ball from slipping. The same advantage was gained by rubbing the hall on the ground. A. J.
