ENGLAND AND GERMANY.
A writer in the London "Daily Mail" of December 9th says:— it would be idle to deny that considerable uneasiness is felt in many quarters about the continuance of 'friendly relations between England and Germany. From Germany there come-accounts of .systematic and sustained preparations in every department of military and maval' life." Tn England our arsenals have been working for months at the utmost pressure. The arrests of alleged spies by either country are another sign.
