PALMERSTQN N,, Last Night.. < The New South W'ales Totalisatoi 1 ' Commission concluded its sittings in Palmerston to-day, the evidence taken being on .the lines previously giveau in other parts. Tilie Commission proceeds to Wellington to-morrow. Fouuwitnesses were examined to-day, inr eluding a member of the Sports Protection League. One of the Commissioners expressed regret that the people who were supposed to safeguard itihe morals of the community had not come forward to .give evidence.
