MILITARY TRAINING
PRESENT YEAR'S WORK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. To correct any impression which may exist that a whole year's training will be expected of the Territorial forces during the remainder of the present year ending 31st May, MajorGeneral Godley explained to-day that only a proportion of the year's drills and exercises will oe expected up to thaf date. The artillery camps begin in February. . Many intfan/try regiments will camp before the end of March. Mounted rifles' camps will be in, April and May. Major-G<eneral Godley remarked that more cadet officers were wanted. The officers commanding districts would be glad to liear of any suitable ex-officers or qualified persons willing to beoomo senior cadet officers. Hie regarded the registration of both and senior cadets as emineaitly satisfactory.
