FOUR DEATHS FEARED OVERCOME BY FOUL AIR. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) SYDNEY, January 13. A disaster occurred at the Barrier Mine at Wyalong. A party of seven miners who were working below, failed to knock. The manager descended, and found five of the men overcome by foul air and three (Frank Maguire, Rube Nicholson and John Miilhall) dead. Two others were prostrated, and ar© in r. serious condition. Two brothers, John and Bert Navin, could.not bo found, and it is improbable that they are alive. A relief party is .searching the mine. All the dead were married men. The scene at tho top of the shaft was heartrending. LATER RfcrOißTS. Received This Morning, 12.15 o'clock. SYDNEY, January 14. Later reports state that four are dead and six affected.
