TWO LADS BURNED
IN A TENT FIRE. I (By Telegraph — Press Association.) aHRISTCHURCH ,Last Night. , Two lads named Phillip and Harold Grampton, living in. Albert St,, Lin wood, were somewhat severely burned owing to the tent in which they "wei?e.. deeping catching fire. It appears 'that early"' yesterday morning the elder lad (Phillips) was awakened by smoke, and found the tent and matting ablaze. He awoke the younger lad, and they both rushed outside, -but tbev were unable to escape before they had sustained I bad injuries. They were both admitted to the hospital, where their injuries were attended to. One is progressing favourably. The younger lad is more badily burned, having sustained injuries, to his body as well as his. face and hand*. The older lad was burned about the face, hand and foot.
