The reports to hand concerning the Wellington, wool .sale, held yesterday, are of an encouraging nature. The competition appears to have been keen, especially for the finer _ wools, for -which, am advance in prices was slbow.n. Naturally a good deal of lEeSwoolwiasmaisomowQiat damp anid cotot-ed condition, as a result of the abnormally wet season. Taken alto.gether, however, the sale appears to Bi'ove been highly successful, and Waiii'arapa breeders should have no cause for complaint at the prices obtained.
