English files just to hand state that currency is given to a rumour that the Pope intends to miake Easter a fixed date, selecting the first Sunday in- April for its observance. Should this prove to be 'well founded, tine ground would be cleared for a reform of the calendar. jLITI the movable (feasts wre dependent on Easter,, and BneS IMb festival is fixed, the others would offer no difficulty.
