OF A FEILDINC FARMER.
JUMPS FRAM AN UPSTAIRS WiINDOW.

WEILLINGTOX, Last Night
Thomas Peddie, aged 28 years, < a s-heepfarmer, of Colytan, near Feilding, met has death on Saturday night by jumping from the 'Upstairs window <k a room in. a boarding house in AkUesiWoa-thi Stt.reet, kept by Miss Curtis. Deceased arrived in town with his moitlber and sister oai Saturday evening, December 30th, and as he appeared sttranige in his manner, a.n. attetndaint was engaged to look after him. The attendant was- sent to the railway station'for luggage, and .deceased', elutiimg his mother and sister, ran upstairs, and raising the window, leapt out. 'Death was instantaneous. Deceased'© father, who died three years- ago, was for iwamy years.-a hotel keeper- at Napier.
