UPPER PLAIN RAINFALL. Mr J. 0. Boddington. reports that the rainfall at the Upper Plain, on 15 day® in. December was as follows: —Uhe maxitmuan fa.ll 1 in 24 hours was 1.14 inches, regist&red on the 18th, :and tihe minimium 1 point oil) tthe 13th. The itotal for tie month was 4.13 inches. The average for Dec•emlber during the previous seven years was 2.80 inches. The total: for the year was 44.-24 indue®, and the average during the previous seven years was 43.88 'inches'. The highest ■fall for twelve months during the 'past- seven years was 54.19 inches in 1907; the year in wihioh the commenced in NovemSbeir. Mk* H. G. Groves, of Bush Girove, ■reports' that the raanfeJl for the month, of Decemiber waa 4.12 points. The maximum fall was 91 points on the 17th. Rain 'fell on fifteen days.
